Setting Resource Signing Policies
YoucansettheresourcesigningpolicysothatanACEinstancecannotberunif
resourcefiles,suchaspolicyscriptsorcustomEULAtextfiles,aretamperedwith.
AresourceisconsideredanyfileintheACE Resourcessubdirectoryinthevirtual
machinedirectoryontheWorkstationhost.Filesthatarepu
tinthisdire

enduser’smachinearenotresourcesinthissenseandarenotsignaturechecked.
Signaturecheckingisperformedontheenduser’smachineatpoweronandthenevery
timeascriptisrun.YoucanspecifywhethertoverifyallfilesintheACE R

ctoryorjustthepolicyscriptsinthatdirectory.
Ifyouarecreatingapackagethathassubstantialresources,suchaslargefilesorlarge
numbersoffiles,signaturecheckingmighttakealongtime.Inthiscase,consider
verifyingscriptsonlyornotusingresourcesigning.
