Specify a Script and a Command to Run It
Theprocedureforusingauthenticationscriptsandhost‐guestdatascriptsisidentical.
Usethisprocedureforthefollowingscripts:
Accesscontrolauthenticationscript–Customauthenticationscriptthatrunson
theenduser’scomputertodeterminewhocanusetheACEinstance.
IfyouplantousethescriptwithaPocketACEthatwillrunonbothWindowsand
Linuxhosts,makesurethatthescriptoutputsonbothplatformsaree
xactlythe
sam
e,includingcharactersforlineendingsornewlines.
Host‐guestdatascript–Scriptforsharinghostinformationsuchasthehost
machineIDandIPaddresswithapplicationsthatrunontheguest.
To specify a script and a command to run it
1 CreatethescriptandsaveitintheACE Resourcesdirectoryinsidethevirtual
machine’sdirectory.
