Adding a Range of Hosts
You find the TCP/IP-accessed manageable hosts by searching a range of IP addresses.
The Add Range of TCP/IP Hosts dialog box enables you to build the initial list of
TCP/IP accessed manageable hosts. (Not available in read-only mode.)
Note: The following notes apply when adding a range of hosts:
The ranges of IP addresses are only scanned each time you open the Add
Remote TCP/IP Hosts dialog box and click Start Discovery. The ranges are
not automatically scanned by the discovery server during its discovery
cycles.
CIM is only supported on Windows systems.
Adding a range of hosts is only supported for IPv4 addresses. It is not
supported for IPv6 addresses.
The OneCommand Manager application must be installed on all remote
hosts.
